How God Helps me with my Emotions

Matt Brown Week 2

Beyond the pursuit of physical and spiritual health, acknowledging and fostering emotional well-being is essential. This intentional focus on emotional health not only enriches our individual lives but also deepens our connections with those around us. By understanding and nurturing our emotions, we foster an environment where we can even deepen our relationship with God. Check out this message from Pastor Matt Brown where he explains exactly how you can strengthen your emotional well-being.

WHAT YOU CAN DO THIS WEEK
Ask God to help you discern how worry and stress is impacting your life. To what extent do you let your feelings determine what you believe rather than God’s Word? Recall an incident in which your feelings controlled your thoughts and actions more than God’s truth. What were your feelings telling you was true? What could have God’s word told you was true? What feelings and thoughts surface as you reflect on Matthew 6:25-34 that help you not worry about a current challenge you are facing?

Explore the Healthy Series

As a new year approaches, many people are contemplating changes and habits to start that will impact their lives, and more often than not, improve their physical or mental health. However—as Christians—we know being truly healthy goes beyond the physical. Emotional and spiritual health are just as important. As the Church, we are the body of Christ, and our bodies are His temples. It is essential to keep our bodies, hearts, and spirits healthy. Through the series Healthy, we will learn the importance of the three aspects of our health: physical, emotional, and spiritual, showing how they are innately connected.
