Love like Jesus

Matt Brown Week 16

What does it really mean to love people—especially the ones who are hard to love? In this message, Pastor Matt Brown unpacks one of the most challenging teachings of Jesus: loving your enemies. It's not just about being kind—it's about living differently. Whether you're struggling to forgive, wrestling with a broken relationship, or just trying to be a better human, this message invites you to see love in a whole new light.

WHAT YOU CAN DO THIS WEEK

Invite God to show you what it would look like to live at a higher level of love for 1) people who you don’t see or are indifferent to 2) people who you don’t like and disagree with or 3) people who have been mean or you feel wounded by. Consider Romans 5:10 (NLT): “Since our friendship with God was restored by the death of His Son while we were still His enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of His Son.” Take a moment to reflect on the good news of Easter – while we were still sinners, Jesus died on the cross for us, then rose again with the promise of eternal life. Thank God for the gift of Jesus. Express your gratitude to Him for loving you, forgiving you, and saving you.
