How to Represent Jesus in Times of War

Sometimes the sermon calendar get's an abrupt last minute change to address moments of crisis. Thankfully, God's Word is sufficient for guidance and wisdom during times of crisis like the situation currently being experienced in the Middle East. How can followers of Jesus respond to war and divisiveness? Remember that people are watching you, let Jesus challenge you, weep with those who weep and stay spiritually united as the church.

WHAT YOU CAN DO THIS WEEK
Think about the war in Israel. What thoughts and feelings come up? How do they challenge you to be a good representative of Jesus to others? Talk with Him about how you can represent Him well in this troubling time and then make the decision to take any necessary steps He might be inviting you to take. Ask God to help you to know what specific requests to make regarding Israel and its leadership as you pray for them.
