Faith That Sees Through Desperation, Disruption, and Disbelief

Alfredo Ramos Week 30

We all say we want healing—but do we really want the disruption that comes with it? This week, Pastor Fredo Ramos unpacks a set of deeply human stories that challenge how we think about faith, change, and the slow, often uncomfortable process of becoming whole. What if the very things we roll our eyes at or ignore are the exact things we need to move forward? Whether you're burned out, skeptical, or longing for something more—this message invites you to see your pain, your doubt, and your hope in a new way.

WHAT YOU CAN DO THIS WEEK

“Desperation is what brings me close when pride would rather keep distance.” That truth plays out in every part of this week’s passage. Each person in this story had come to the end of themselves. Each one reached out to Jesus. Are you willing to admit where you’re feeling desperate right now? Not just busy or tired, but truly in need? What’s keeping you from bringing those feelings to Jesus? Are pride, fear, shame, uncertainty, or something else standing between you and your Savior? Jesus doesn’t avoid desperate people. He draws near to them. Slowly read Matthew 9:18–34. Is there a part of your story that feels too messy, small, or broken for Him to care about? Bring that part of you to Him right now.
