Cursing of the Fig Tree

Alfredo Ramos

In this message, we’re invited to examine the gap between spiritual appearance and spiritual reality. Using the story of Jesus and the fig tree, we’re challenged to ask how we measure spiritual health—and whether our current metrics are telling us the truth. It’s possible to stay busy for God while quietly growing distant from God, confusing productivity with intimacy. This teaching calls us back to prayer, not as a requirement, but as a return home where real fruit is formed. As we move toward Easter, this is an invitation to slow down, wake up, and remain close to the true source of life.
