A Different Way to Live

In Matthew 19, Jesus invites us into a radically different way of following Him — one marked by childlike faith, trust, and surrender. This message unpacks the encounter between Jesus, the children, and the rich young ruler, revealing how reliance on self can quietly replace reliance on God. We’re challenged to consider what we’re holding onto, what we’re afraid to release, and where Jesus is asking us to trust Him more deeply. Following Jesus may cost us everything we cling to — but it leads to life, joy, and freedom beyond what we could imagine. The invitation is still open: come, follow Him with childlike faith.
