How We Respond to a Crisis

Because of the present crisis, I think it is best to remain as you are. 1 Corinthians 7:26 NLT

Remain calm

Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end. Proverbs 29:11 NLT

Remain in obedience to scripture

Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. Romans 13:1 NLT

Remain in the present

So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Matthew 6:34 NLT

Remain focused on the facts

Spouting off before listening to the facts is both shameful and foolish. Proverbs 18:13 NLT

Don’t spread gossip and rumors. Leviticus 19:16 MSG

Remain faithful in prayer

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything Philippians 4:6 NLT

Remain ready to help

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 NLT

Remain in God’s love for me

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 NLT
