As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” When (Jesus) had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; and their sight was restored. MATTHEW 9:27-30 NIV

Be persistent in prayer, and keep alert as you pray, giving thanks to God. COLOSSIANS 4:2 GNT
You see that (Abraham’s) faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. JAMES 2:22 NIV
Set aside some time to consider your own faith. Ponder what the limits of your faith are and what that faith is based on. As you process these things, invite the Holy Spirit to guide you into a time of truthful reflection. Allow yourself to be painfully honest in your analysis.
In what ways does your faith control your initiative? In what ways do your actions represent your faith? In what ways do they contradict it? Where is your faith weakest? Where is it the strongest?
Allow for several days of pondering this. As you dig deeper into your own faith, take note of what emotions and areas are exposed. Notice both the comforting and challenging areas in this process while pressing into both.
